Shows/Ceremonies

Anthony Inglis is very experienced in putting together trade shows and award ceremonies. In 1998, in conjunction with the production company Qudos, he was responsible for putting together the music for the award winning show which launched the Volvo S80 at The Gothenberg Opera House. This involved the entire resources at the state-of-the-art opera house, as they gave a 50 minute performance of classical music for 6 weeks, to delegates from around the world. In January 2004, he was responsible for selecting and conducting the music for the naming ceremony at the dockside of Southampton harbour of the world's largest liner, the Queen Mary 2. This was given with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Choral Society, Band of The Royal Marines, Heather Small and Lesley Garret to national ecstatic reviews from the media and the 2,000 audience from all over the world, in the presence of HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. In 2007 he again conducted another Naming ceremony, this time for Cunard's Queen Victoria.  The London Philharmonic Orchestra, Choir of Winchester Cathedral, Sir Derek Jacobi, Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe, Gardar Cortes and Jon Christos performed music and words apprioriate for the occasion and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall accompanied by HRH The Prince of Wales performed the Naming.  For 6 years he conducted the annual award ceremony for Motor Transport at the Royal Albert Hall or Grosvenor House with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as they give their version of The Last Night of The Proms. Over the years he has conducted orchestras for: Leyland DAF, Crown Paints, Allied Dunbar(x5), TTG(x3), Fiat UK, Canon, Case IH(x3), Alpine Double Glazing, ABTA Travel, Motor Transport(6), Volvo(x4), British Insurance(x6), Flight International, IBM, Digital Equipment Company, Abbey National, Prudential Insurance, Cellnet.

There have been a number of shows/concerts for Cunard in addition to the Naming Cermonies for QM2 and QV. In Liverpool, the spiritual home of Cunard, he has been responsible for three concerts: two in the Anglican Cathedral and one on board the QM2. He devised and conducted the 40th anniversary and the Farewell concerts of the QE2 which involved artists such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Chorus, Liverpool Cathedral Choir, Band of the Welsh/Scots Guards, Lesley Garret, Nicky Spence, Natasha Marsh and Jon Christos, and recently the 5th Birthday tribute concert in words and music to The QM2 which again involved the RLPO this time with Helen Williams and Jon Christos.  Next year, the Queen Victoria will also have a concert on board.

In addition, in June 2006, he was the Music Director for a multi-million dollar wedding in North London that featured his own 80-piece National Symphony Orchestra, The Bambini Choir from Prague, Jose Carreras, Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Band, The Royal Ballet, The Black Eyed Peas, and The Cut Up Boys.  He has since stated his own daughter need not expect a similar event upon her nuptials!!
